FAQs
What is Health Labs HQ?
A health optimisation company built from health psychology rather than pathology. We look at health across four dimensions that move each other: physical, psychological, social and financial. Blood testing is one way in, but it is the starting point rather than the product.
What are you actually trying to do?
Empower people to make good decisions about their health, their life and their business, so they can be the best they can be for themselves, their families, their organisations and, we would argue, society. Good information is now widely available. What is missing is the self-understanding that lets someone receive it properly and act on it. That is the gap we work in.
What can I work with you on?
Blood testing and the insights that come from it, performance psychometrics with Dr Joe, Entrepreneur Labs for founders and CEOs, and consultancy for organisations. Labs AI, which reads all four dimensions together, is in development.
Why did you create Entrepreneur Labs?
Because leaders carry a particular kind of cost, and the usual answers treat one part of it at a time. Founders get business advice in one room, health advice in another, and rarely get either in the company of people who understand the job. Entrepreneur Labs puts health, strategy, leadership and AI in the same day, with a closed group of peers, once a month.
Who is behind it?
Dr Joe Gaunt, a Chartered Health Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, alongside a wider team of doctors, ex-athletes, operators and health professionals. The people who deliver our work have done the thing they are talking about.
Do I need to be unwell to work with you?
No, and it is better if you are not. Most of what shapes long-term health moves quietly for years before it announces itself. Testing and understanding yourself while you feel well is precisely when you still have room to do something useful with what you find.
What happens if my results come back concerning?
We recommend clearly and immediately that you see a health professional, usually your GP. Where a result is flagged as clinically significant, we follow the accredited laboratory's own operational guidance, because they are the provider of the result and that process exists for exactly this situation.
Do you share my results with anyone?
No. We never share individual results with anybody. We do not share data with insurers or with employers, in any circumstances.
Is this a replacement for seeing my GP?
No. It is information you own, designed to help you act earlier and to have a better informed conversation with a clinician. It does not replace medical care and it is not a diagnosis.
